WEI's Fixed Assets program was built to handle multiple requirements. It can function as Check In/Out or Fixed Assets or anywhere unique ID's exist on inventory items.
Options
1) Depreciation using current value and class of Asset
2) With any ODBC reporting tool custom reports can be generated, eliminating any limitations for reporting or exporting.
3) MSDE or SQL Server Database for Single USer
4) Oracle or SQL Server for Enterprise Multiuser Solution
5) Tree View of Assets on Handheld and PC
6) Ability to Scan Assets and store pictures of the Assets by PC or taking pictures with the Handheld(optional depending on handheld)
7) Cycle Counts/On the Spot Validation of Location/Asset.
8) Cascading Menus for 3 Drop Downs(Configurable)
9) Field Names with Type and Name (Configurable)
10) Asset moves and New Locations Added by Handheld in the field(if allowed)
11) Location barcodes for quick moves and adds of Assets
12) Program generates custom barcodes for Assets and Locations or Personel.
13) Asset Multi-level ownership Location, Area, Name available.
14) Retire Date and ReCertification or Maintanence Date by Report
15) Reports Viewable and printable by Asset, Asset Type, Location, Owner, and Many other ways. Handheld has most of the same capabilities.
16) Handheld holds all inventory.
17) RF Capability available.
18) Use of barcode for tracking Users or Locations with Assets.
19) Customization by Quote or Hours On/Off Site

A1 ASSET TRACKER SINGLE USER(FIXED ASSETS)
Single User Fixed Assets comes with 1 License for Handheld and 1 for the PC. This version uses MSDE, but can be upgraded to the SQL Server version or Oracle are available.
In Single User Tracking is done either by
1) PC Only
2) PC with 1 Handheld Terminal
3) PC with more than 1 Hand Held Portable Data Terminals
USB/Ethernet/RS232 Cradle

A1 ASSET TRACKER FOR ORACLE/SQL SERVER
Multiuser and Wireless 802.11x Fixed Assets and Check In/Out are available. License by Handheld after purchase of the MultiUser/RF Version. This is a very secure version designed for the military and implemented for the Air Force and Health Care industry.
This was implemented for the purpose of the enterprise where data was to be backup and maintaned using Oracle or SQL Server. All that is required is that the user have access to the same SubNet.
