Basic and Detailed Warranties, Shipping, Returns &Tax Information
All items are guaranteed to work properly upon receipt.
All items are backed by a minimum fifteen day money-back guarantee.
Most items are shipped by FedEx Second Day Air.
Overnight shipping is available at a cost.
*Software is Non-Returnable except in the case of Defective merchandise. If Software is found to be defective, we will gladly implement the manufacturers DOA policy or replace the defective merchandise with the same title only.

Sales Tax
Currently, the only orders requiring sales tax are those which are being shipped to destinations within the State of Alabama. The Tax Rate charged is 8.5% within the state. The Tax will be added to your total, and be reflected in your credit card charges.

Shipping
A1 Barcode Systems ships all orders by ground or second day. We currently use Federal Express and UPS as our carriers. Please contact us @ 1-800 798-2042 with any special shipping needs. Please allow two business days to process orders. We can only ship to physical addresses. Sorry.

Returns
A1 Barcode Systems will accept returns for 15 days on all items except software and media items(paper, ribbons, & labels). Returned items must have an Return Authorization Number from us or the return will not be accepted. Returns must arrive prepaid in the original packaging in re-saleable condition.
A1 Barcode Systems is NOT responsible for shipping charges on returned items. We recommend that you insure the package. A 15% Restocking/Handling Fee will be charged on any return not received in the original packaging and in resale condition within that period. On return of merchandise help us to serve you by doing the following:
Use the original manufacturer's packaging. (We recommend double boxing all returns to help eliminate restocking fees and to keep the product in "like new" condition.)
Make sure your returns are complete with all manuals, cables, warranty cards and static bags
(just as you received it).
Please do not write on the box, this causes
Please reference your RMA number clearly on the shipping label
Remember that you are responsible for freight when returning products.
Additionally..
If a credit card is used 3.5% will be deducted from your return. We are charged 3.0-3.5% + on every sale, even if returned. Especially P cards from government where they are always considered Corporate cards billing us the 3.4-4.0%
Products request for returns after the initial return period(15 Days) will be subject to a minimum of a 25% restock fee and freight and is done on a case by case basis, at the discretion of A1 Barcode Systems.

Warranty and DOA
While we can't guarantee that every product we ship arrives in perfect condition, we can make sure problems are handled quickly and painlessly.
In most cases, warranty situations are handled by the manufacturer. A1 Barcode Systems provides no warranty other than the warranty offered by the manufacturer on the product.
If a product arrives Dead On Arrival (DOA), contact us immediately @ 800 798-2042. DOA Policies vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. We will be glad to apply the manufacturer's policy and help you get up and running. Please see manufacturer's warranties for manufacturer DOA policies. In most cases, a Return Material Authorization (RMA) will be issued and a replacement product will be sent to you. To speed the process along, please have the following information ready:

Please note that RMA numbers are only valid for thirty (30) days, and all products received without an RMA number will be returned to you unopened.
If you're an account customer, we'll send your replacement products (freight free via ground delivery) once we've issued you an RMA number. We will then credit your account when we receive your return.
If you're a credit card customer, we'll send your replacement products as soon as we receive your defective or incorrect products. Or, if you wish, we'll immediately send replacement products & charge them to your credit card, then issue a refund or credit your card when we receive your return.
